B&B Hotel Bayreuth

Simple model for those who don’t need a reception. Check in online or in the machine downstairs, personal code and minimum to none interaction. Very close to city center and pedestrian streets but still possible to get by car and even find some parking spots around or in the parking garage nearby. Very good value for the money spent. There are plenty of places around you can have a good breakfast starting from 6:30, but you also can try a hotel breakfast (we didn’t). Restaurants, grocery stores, etc. writhing 1-5 min walking. Good family room big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Location, location, location! It's a 5 minute walk from the sights in Bayreuth and there are lots of restaurants and shops in the pedestrian area downstairs on the way. New was automatic check-in. You get a text msg with your key code ahead of time and you don't need to speak to a sole. It's practical, but impersonal.

The hotel has a superb location right in the centre of Bayreuth, within walking distance of all the attractions like the Wagner museum and the opera house as well as restaurants and shops. The hotel has no parking of its own, but is next door to a large car park. If you park there, if you get your parking ticket validated at the hotel reception you get a discount on the parking, €9 per 24 hours, instead of €12. Car park payment is by payment station when you leave. The room at the B&B was clean, tidy and sizeable with a nice bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was a typical European buffet of cereals, cold meats, cheeses, fruit and so on. I can recommend it highly.

Lisa the receptionist was very nice, polite and welcoming. She even spoke English which made it much easier for me to communicate with her. Anytime I asked her for something she got it done. All the staff from the cleaners to the waiter/waitress were very polite and helpful. They all greeted me with a good morning 🌞 in German 'Guten Morgen' ☺️😁

The location is central and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet is decent, but you should know that it features no hot food.
